The Serpent’s Bones

The Serpent’s Bones are two-lane paved routes through and around rock outcroppings south of the Hocking Hills (the bones of the sacred serpent – Kinepeikwa) with a focus on natural beauty, great twisting roads, historical sites, and places to recreate. The tour’s paved roads are perfect for cars and motorcycles alike. The routes feature lakes, rivers, railroad tunnels, abandoned iron furnaces, parks, trailheads, state parks, and more. Come tour all of the Serpent’s Bones (heart, coil, scale, horns, spine, tail, beard, and more)!
