Do you have recent photos that show Vinton County at its finest? The Vinton County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau (CVB)  is seeking pictures that may be used to promote the county for tourism. The community hosts visitors who enjoy the tranquility of the county by visiting the state parks, covered bridges, quilt barns, Moonville and other spots.

The CVB actively promotes Vinton County for tourism and needs pictures for the annual visitors’ guide, website and other visual media. Do you have photos that you think could be used for these purposes? The CVB has an annual photo contest that is open to the public.

There is no residency requirement for the contest. It is open to any amateur photographer including the folks who are just visiting. The most important rule is that the photo must have been taken in Vinton County after January 1, 2007. There is one division for adults and kids.
