Do you believe in ghosts? You just might after spending a night in the haunted Moonville Tunnel. Midnight at Moonville is a Halloween-themed event featuring dramatic storytelling, wagon rides, regional craft vendors, souvenirs, historical presentations, acoustic music performances, and much more. The event will end with an interactive demonstration of paranormal investigation techniques hosted by a respected research group.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 15, starting at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free. Parking will be at Lake Hope State Park, with shuttles taking visitors to and from the event. For directions, visit the 2016 event page.  For more information, call the Vinton County CVB at 1-800-596-4459.

Schedule of Activities
4:00 p.m. – Vendor set-up
5:00 p.m. – Shuttles begin operating
6:00 p.m. – Official open, welcome message, acoustic music by Ben Davis Jr.
6:30 p.m. – Historical presentation by Jeanette and Patrick Quackenbush
7:00 p.m. – Dramatic storytelling by Ohio Appalachian Storytelling Project (Thomas A. Burnett)
7:30 p.m. – Acoustic music performance by Mothman (Todd Martin)
8:30 p.m. – Historical presentation by Jeanette and Patrick Quackenbush
9:00 p.m. – Dramatic storytelling by Ohio Appalachian Storytelling Project (Thomas A. Burnett)
9:30 p.m. – Thank you message, paranormal investigation by Ohio PRISM
12:00 a.m. – Shuttles depart, site cleanup

Additional activities/features will include wagon rides to Moonville Cemetery, contests, costumed characters, a special effects makeup booth, and much more.
